Make no mistake, from personal experience, giving up cigarettes is decidedly harder than giving up breathing!
I smoked for 27 years and I think I spent 27 years giving up.
If I was coaching you I would say don’t bother unless you have reason…a why. A big why!
So how did I give up? I gave up for my kids. I gave up because my smoking father died when I was 16. I gave up when my first grandchild was just 5.
I gave up because I had to brush my teeth after every single cigarette to kiss my new wife. I gave up because I knew at a very deep level I would have a quick early death or a long painful pathetic early death.
